NON-CONDUCTIVE REFRIGERANT LINE BREAK

The non-conductive refrigerant line break provides a electrical discontinuity in a metallic refrigerant line while maintaining safe operation of a high-pressure refrigerant system. The product is used for the installation of HVAC units where an electrical discontinuity is required on any metallic lines that pass through a security partition or wall.
Orders exceeding $100,000 will receive an additional 2.5% discount when paid via ACH direct bank transfer.

What is the lead time for the “X” NCB?+
The availability of the NCBs is listed on our website. Please contact us at https://www.ekfoxgear.com if any NCBs are shown as backordered.
What are your payment options?+
The available payment options are credit/debit card, ACH direct debit or direct bank transfer (i.e. send a check). We over a 5% discount on ACH and direct bank transfer orders over $10,000. If a hard check is required for your purchase, the order will still be placed utilizing the website. When checking out you will select “direct bank transfer” and place your order. Once we have received your payment and funds clear, we will prepare your shipment and send your order.
Are your NCBs compatible with “X” refrigerant?+
Our NCBs are designed to be installed in refrigerant lines of various refrigerant-based HVAC systems that use POE refrigerant oil. Currently, our UL listing only covers use with R410A refrigerant. However, we are actively working with UL to conduct compatibility testing with A2L refrigerants, and we anticipate receiving the compatibility test report by end of June 2026.
How long are your NCBs?+

Do you have any local vendors?+
No, the NCBs are designed, manufactured, and sold by us.
Are there length options or are they standard?+
At this time, our NCBs are available in a standard length of approximately 24”.
What is your typical shipping time?+
If the NCBs are in stock, the NCB will be shipped via FedEx Ground within 1-2 days after the order is placed.
Bulk Discounts? +
Bulk discounts will be offered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us through www.ekfoxgear for inquiries. Currently, we are offering a 5 % discount on any purchase over $10,000 dollars when the ACH payment is utilized.
Can the length of the copper tubing on the NCB be shortened by the installer?+
Yes, but only if the installer is using flame-free installation method, or no braze method.
Can I braze the NCB into my line set?+
Yes, but we do not recommend shortening the length of the copper tubing that comes on the NCB. While brazing, all standard precautions should be used to protect the non-conductive portion of the NCB from excessive heat, such as brazing next to a service valve, and the tubing should be cooled immediately after the braze joint is made.
