Our hydronic waveguides are compatible with most fluids that would be utilized in a commercial building application. This includes propylene/ethylene glycol & water solutions, fire protection systems, domestic water systems, etc. If you have a specific application that is not typical, please contact us with details about your installation.

Not currently. In our experience, every installation of a waveguide is different and has a variety of factors that will change the length of the hardware and the type of RF gasket material required to make a tight connection. We may offer some options for gasket kits in the future.
A grooved pipe connection is a fast, reliable and flame-free mechanical joining method. It utilizes a cold formed or machined groove near the pipe ends, a rubber C-shaped gasket to seal the joint, and a bolted split-metal housing that locks into the grooves to provide structural strength. The groove dimensions machined in the Hydronic Waveguides complies with ANSI/AWWA C606 grooved joints. Manufacturers of these piping systems include, but are not limited to, Victaulic and Gruvlok.
